western valley resort is a beautiful property away from the hustle bustle of Ooty town in a serene picturesque valley view. The rooms and cottages are well designed with amenities and give beautiful view from the window/ balcony. we booked a cottage wood villa, a very artistic and antique design, loved being in it's cosy bed...kids also were in the same room at upper deck - safe and had good family time for bonding together. The food was nice, being from north India, we were a little sceptical but enjoyed the taste. The staff was courteous and helpful - prompt enough with service. we really enjoyed our stay and clicked many pics for memories.

we stayed at western valley resort ooty from 5th to 9th May in the wooden villa no 1. we had an enjoyable stay, rooms are very clean, view from the villa is fantastic, surrounding the tea estate. staff are all very helpful esp the 2 managers at the front desk. they allowed us an extension too on check out as our flight was delayed. restaurant staff also is very nice n food is delicious. buffet breakfast has good variety daily n is delicious. we used to have daily dinner at the restaurant n all their dishes are very tasty. would definitely visit again

Excellent location , Great ambience. food is good . Well maintained garden and plenty of indoor game activities.. room service is prompt .. Staff are polite and easy to reach . Breakfast has plenty of items to choose from continental to south Indian

Pros- property was good well maintained, staff was humble and well behaved. Breakfast was good.rooms were well maintained, neat and tidy. Cons- therir was no ventilation in the room. Enclosed windows ( can provide provision of air circulation by fixing mosquitos or insects net. In bathroom their was leakage in washbasin, should provide atleast one ceiling fan. Road which leads to the property from the mainroad should be made or atleast fixed it with some pavment tiles.
